Stayed here over xmas and it was a pleasant surprise. Location was great, surrounded by local food stands and close to public transportation. Staff were friendly and helpful, even offering free shuttle service to nearby attractions. the room was clean and comfortable, with reliable hot water and air conditioning. Bonus was the free breakfast basket offered each morning, which included fresh pastries and fruit.

The noise from the surrounding neighborhood was quite loud, especially at night. Beds were on the firmer side, but slept well with extra blankets provided.

The location is not good and the approach is very poor. There is no restaurant is negetive point.

Hotal staff was very helpful and friendly.

The air conditioner could not be regulated to avoid the direct air flow into my face when sleeping.

They always tried to sort out any problems we had. The hotel provided a free bus/coach service to the nearby canton fair which was a big help. The hotel is located in a bustling commercial area with plenty of food stands. We could easily catch a cab to the main city shopping center.

Located on a street with lots of street shops and restaurants with exotic Chinese food. Hotel staff from reception - very helpful (only they understood English)

no refrigerator, bar, safe box in the room. in the bathroom no shower - the water flows down into the hole in the floor. there are cockroaches

The hotel is located in a very crowded commercial area with lots of food stands, offering a vibrant atmosphere to explore. It is also conveniently located, just a short cab ride away from the main city shopping centre, providing easy access to various restaurants and shops. the staff were friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to assist guests with any issues they may have encountered.

One downside mentioned by some guests was occasional noise at night, but this can be easily mitigated with the use of earplugs.

Hotel stuff were nice and friendly.

The hotel is the most terrible I have ever seen! They use some chemicles to kill insects which have terrible stink! The hotel is old and very shabby. The bathroom is old and dirty. The sink was broken. Under our room was a night bar, so we could enjoy music all night long. Thanks god we had a lot of things to do and scould stay in the hotel room as little time as possible.

Nothing special & it was really bad experiance. Specially bath rooms were worst ever.

No restaurant, bar, no swimming pool & no activity only OK to sleep on hard bed.

The staff were brilliant, helpful, funny, honest, and polite. They tried to sort out any problems and provided a free bus service to the canton fair. Good value for money.

If I had a problem they would try and sort it out and during the canton fair week if you are working on a bit of a budget this is probably the best your going to find for your money. We did not realise until we arrived that they also put on a free bus/coach service to the canton fair which helped us. The enviroment around the hotel is not the cleanest and you will see the poorer side to china but we never had a single problem with the locals during our stay.The only down sides where the hotel has no restuarants or bars but there are lots in the streets,the beds are hard{the girls brought me some extra soft blankets to place on top of my matress} it can be noisey at night ,so I bought some ear plugs for 1usd. This is a good value for money hotel.

Abit noisey at night, Beds are hard. The streets around the hotel are very busy and untidy.

I booked a room in Pazhou Bay Hotel but have to stay in the other hotel of the group which has very bad location. I was disapointed.

This hotel is nothing like the hotel depicted in the photographs on the Booked.net website

We where on the 12th floor and the noisy mc Donald doll screaming the whole night!!!! wanted to kick in the teeth. will never stay there again. Hotel if fantastic otherwise.

The staff on the floor was ok and tried to help. The managers are fools. The worst hotel I've stayed at in China. I would not recommend this hotel to any one. No internet. Toilet overflow, nightclub plays very loud on top of rooms til 02:00 The electricity box was super noisy all night and the halls stink. All in all not a pleasant time. I wanted to check out after 1 day but were told that because I had booked 3 nights had to pay for 3 even if I checked out. This matter will be taken up with Booked.net.
